Mothers Day

I can hardly believe I have been a Momma for 8 years this year! I am so greatful for the blessing of being a Mom. Each one of my boys is special in their own ways, and even though one of them is not physically here with me to love on this Mothers Day I think of him just as much as I think of my boys here with me. They have each blessed my life in their own ways, sometimes its more challenging than I would like it to be, but all the time its a gift. Today and tomorrow I am going to enjoy my time with my boys even more than I normally would :) and remember the gift of being a Mother!

IEP is coming

First I have to say Handsome had a FABO week at school!!! YAY Handsome!!!!!

He had a spectacular week and his teacher was so excited for him as well as us :) Lately he has been having lots of trouble transitioning from one task to another at school and we finally found a new system to help him transition better :) This is huge friends... and I'm praying it keeps getting better.

Now on to next week......... :)

I have his IEP next week and I will be requesting that they let him attend the 'typical' kindergarten for a few hours a day with an aid... Matthias is doing great in his reading skills and language  but the only downside to that type of class he is in is he picks up on many stimming habits of the other kiddos, which I fully expected to happen, but I feel if he is able to go to a typical room for a few hours a day ( know he will be able to addapt to the typical kids fairly easily... the only concern is his behaviors at times, hence the reason I would like an aid... please pray for this whole process as I know they will NOT agree because he at times can shove other people just out of the blue... so I am praying I do NOT have a fight on my hands when it comes to the school it self... his teacher agrees but he would definitely need an aid.
