Our weekend so far :)

WOW we had a fun filled day of pool time, and playing inside :)

Mommy and Grani were busy making Apple Butter and Nut Butter :)( will post pictures of both of my successful accomplishments tomorrow :) ) Much healthier than buying both in the store :)and making the nut butter was very easy :) the apple butter, well one the apples were peeled and cut throwing them in the crock pot and stirring them a few times during the night is not to bad either :).

Bite your tongue

Literally...... that is what happened yesterday with my Littleman........ (BTW this picture is not from yesterday, just a random pick of my Littleman)

I never realized just how badly a tongue could bleed until yesterday. I mean I have had my share of bitting my tongue or cheek badly, but never like this. The poor little guy bit it so badly, that the little corner that he bit, he almost bit completly off!! We had no idea how badly he had bit his tongue because he wouldn't let us near his mouth......I thought at first it would just eventually stop bleeding but, after an hour of bleeding and trying popsicles, ice ect..... (he wouldn't even put them in his mouth,) I decided to take him to the doctor. I waited for an hour and they saw us and she told me basically the best thing would be for him to heal on his own.

The problem he is having is that he keeps playing with it, and anytime he touches it or cries, the clot that has formed breaks away and the bleeding starts all over again :(... My poor Littleman, he is miserable .......

Matthias doesn't like it very much when he see's blood or when his brother gets extremly upset, so yesterday my mom spent a good chunk of her time trying to calm him down. But today he is doing good :)

I'm on my way home in a little bit here to take them in their pool, hopefully Gabriel will be up for it!

Schedule changes.....

Wow.... you can truly tell that it is summer break for Matthias... not only because he is home during school hours :) but he is stimming uncontrollably :(....... The tricks we usually use to get him out of it are not working and Mommy is searching for new things to try ......

I feel so badly for Matthias when his schedule changes and he just doesn't understand why.... He still has such a hard time with understanding and explanation for a reason..... Would you please pray for him this week, that he would gradually fall into his new schedule for the summer?

He has OT today so he normally is very excited to go to see her :) He loves his OT.....

Mellow Monday

Today is my Mom and Dads Anniversary so I stayed home with my boys today and gave my awesome Mother a break from taking care of my kiddos today. I love my parents oh so much and can't thank them enough for all they have done for me and my children (but that's a story for a different day)

My boys and I didn't do to much today, both are teething :) FUN!!! Littleman is one so I expect teething from him, but Handsome, well he is already getting his 6 and 7 year old molars and he is loosing his baby teeth :) so he is cranky too. Not to mention the fun stuff with his ears lately, the last time we went the ENT he told me he had so much junk in his ears from the last infection that I should try and clean out his ear at home ( ha ha ha ha ha rolling on the floor laughing) Ya RIGHT!!! So little by little I have been getting yucking build up out of his ear, but its no fun for him cause he is constantly itching away at his ear :(... My poor handsome... Mommy unfortunately has past on her bad ears :(... I suffered form ear infections until I was 30!!!!!!!!

So on to some good things :) Did I mention that Handsome has discovered showers instead of taking a bath all the time :) He loves it!!! He is still making all the same progress with speech and occupational gains :) We are getting him fitted for foot arthritics because his OT is worried about his hips because of his size and he also favors walking more towards the outsides of his feet.

I'm trying to see if I can get him Hypo therapy as he will be loosing his Music Therapist in August because of the budget cuts in AZ :(.. His therapist has to take cash patients in the later afternoon so that means we are cut :(.

Not to much else that I can think of as mommies brain is fried today.....

Getting Handsome to bed so I can have Tea Time with the Girls :)
