    Not many choices besides....

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture of Handsome :) It captures him so well :)

Go in the pool, seeing as it got to 111 today!!! ICK!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these picture of littleman :) shows how rambucious he is! He is ALWAYS on the go! Isn't he adorable :)

(See Littleman in the back, getting into everything :) )

In case you don't know this about me, even though I am a native Arizonian... I have never liked it when it gets over 100 here. Just not my cup of tea!

Its HOW hot Momma? See Momma a catle and a shovel :)

So its a bit of the opposite here in AZ during the summer. See during the winter, we are all out roaming around enjoying our beautiful weather, while you who live in the frozen tundra :) or even further east are freezing and staying inside as much as possible.

Now you are all doing the opposite of us during summer, enjoying your weather (most of the time) and we are stuck inside or in the pool. Really those are the only options, unless you would like to take an egg and watch it fry on the ground, or walk on the black top during 115 weather and notice that you can feel it melting under your shoes.... :) Oh the joys of living in a desert :)

So today, after we got alittle shade in the back I took the boys outside to play in their little pool. Funny part is my littleman spends MOST of the time out of the pool running around trying to get into everything outside, sounds reminicent of what takes place inside :)...

I hope you enjoyed the pics of my adorable boys playin today :)

Oh yeah, and just to see for a bit of fun :) I thought it would be fun to see if someone would be able to tell me the answer to this question :) sorry nothing to give away, just the joy of me announcing you got it right :)...

Here is a picture of a movie my kiddos were watching today, can you name the movie they are watching??? :)

    Breaking News!!!

lol Just had to do a play on words with our interview today :)

We did our interview with ABC News 15 here in Phoenix this morning and it went very well. He was very nice and it was not as bad as I thought it would be :)... even though they did take ALOT of video of me.

But I am hoping with it only being so many minutes that with all the magic of TV they will cut and past and only use small segments of me. Besides that I CAN NOT wait for everyone else to hear about Lend4Health and to get the word out about this wonderful organization!

So if you live in the beautiful state of Arizona :) our story is slated to be on at 6pm tonight! Please tune in tonight on channel 15 ABC news. If you are one of my blog readers from another beautiful state, you can go to Channel 15s website and view it there, I will put a link on here later tonight when I find it.

Thank you all for your support! Yay for Lend4Health!!!!!

BTW The pictures I posted are of Matthias eating his gluten free/casein free pancakes that he LOVES!!!! :) Can't you tell by the HUGE smile on his face!

    Tomorrow........

Is the big morning! ABC will be coming to do an interview with Matthias and I about Lend4Health!!!

I am so excited to get the word out about this wonderful organization! I want other parents out there to know they do have options to help them get biomedical treatment for their kiddos! I'm also a little nervous as I have never been on TV. I am not one to be in the lime light, but I know that either way God will use it :) I am blessed to have found Lend4health and I just want to pass the information on!

I will post more tomorrow about where you can watch the interview, hopefully they will have it online to watch, I will try and get it uploaded when/if I can.

Well I have a kitchen floor that needs sweeping and a bathroom to clean!

    GREAT NEWS!

So I received some wonderful news today! ACT Today in Arizona called to let me know that Matthias was approved for a Grant to pay for his DAN doctor initial office visit :) Which is just WONDERFUL!!!

You may remember a few months back that a few weeks after I was able to take Handsome to his very FIRST DAN doctor apt, we found out that Dr.Bradstreet was moving his offices out of Arizona to California :(... not so good news for us. I was literally sick to my stomach as I didn't know what I would do because the other DAN doctor in the valley that I would chose to take my son too costs just as much and I would have to come up with the initial first office visit out of pocket again :( We were blessed and given the money for the first one with Dr. Bradstreet so I had NO clue what to do...

After much prayer, I decided to let my son continue to see the NMD (Natural path M.D.) who practiced with Dr.Bradstreet in his office here until I could afford to take Handsome to see the other DAN doctor here in the valley, Dr. Schneider. I actually get to see her once a month at my monthly T.A.C.A meetings I attend and I am very impressed by all her research and dedication she has put in to biomedical treatments for children with autism.

So next month :) I will get to take my Handsome to see her, with NO cost out of my pocket thanks to the wonderful contributors to ACT Today Arizona!!!

    WHAT A HUGE BLESSING!!!!!!

Once again I find myself saying Thank you! From the bottom of my heart!

    A Double Edged Sword

Thank you!!!! I"m not quit sure how to say it enough.........

Honestly, I don't know what else to say besides that....I'm at a loss for words, because it seems that yet again some of my family members have blessed Handsome and paid for his Methyl B12 shots (we have enough for 3 more shots that's it). I feel like I can not say Thank you enough to the wonderful family and friends that have helped me purchase Handsomes supplements Dr. visits, and tests, so just in case I haven't said it enough to you (and you know who you are ;) ) THANK YOU, sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

I can't tell you ( my readers ) how much it means to me, to know that Handsome will have what he needs so that he can continue to progress further! It takes a HUGE weight off my shoulders.

The hardest part of this whole autism journey as Handsomes mom, is knowing, that I do not have the money it requires to get him the supplements, tests, medicines, he needs to progress. If I still would be working full-time with my old employer I'm sure some, (and I say that in the looses sense) of his appointments/supplements would have been covered. BUT if I would have stayed working full time, Handsome would NOT have received the care he needed from me. I would still be working late hours, not getting home till his bedtime, and barely surviving mentally running between work and his therapy sessions and constantly worrying about whether or not my job was secure because of my time away for my son.

Quiting my full time job was the best thing I could have done for Handsome I know this for certain... He would NOT be where he is today if I would have stayed in my full time position. He would not be talking today, singing today, laughing today, eating other foods today, running today, interacting with us today, if I would have stayed there.

Yet, its a double edged sword....especially for single parents like me. If you quit your full time job, you then have to rely on a very small income and you do not have the funds you need to take your child to a DAN doctor and buy supplements or take them to ABA therapy.

Its for this reason that I am so happy I found Lend4health and decided to reach out to Tori at Lend4Health and request to get a loan for Handsome. We are still trucking along on the Lend4Health site. Its going really great! We're not there yet :) almost! Just a little more to go and Handsome will be fully funded and able to continue this journey :).

    Much Love,

    Monday Tea Time :)

So tonight is our weekly tea time with the girls :) lots to catch up on this week as we(Handsome and I) have our big interview coming up on Friday.

I got lots of great 'coaching' from Becky at TACA today, to help me on what I should stick to in the interview and just little ins and outs of how TV News works as I am a bit nervous.

BUT regardless of being nervous, I am ever so excited to get the news out about Lend4Health and how GREAT of organization it is for children/parents who need help financially to be able to help their kids get or in our case continue to get, biomedical treatment :).

I'll keep you all posted on when the interview with air here in AZ and will let you know if their will be a link for all my friends online to watch :).

Thanks for all the support :) Now off to put Handsome and Littleman to bed and then TEA!!!
