    A Double Edged Sword

Thank you!!!! I"m not quit sure how to say it enough.........

Honestly, I don't know what else to say besides that....I'm at a loss for words, because it seems that yet again some of my family members have blessed Handsome and paid for his Methyl B12 shots (we have enough for 3 more shots that's it). I feel like I can not say Thank you enough to the wonderful family and friends that have helped me purchase Handsomes supplements Dr. visits, and tests, so just in case I haven't said it enough to you (and you know who you are ;) ) THANK YOU, sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

I can't tell you ( my readers ) how much it means to me, to know that Handsome will have what he needs so that he can continue to progress further! It takes a HUGE weight off my shoulders.

The hardest part of this whole autism journey as Handsomes mom, is knowing, that I do not have the money it requires to get him the supplements, tests, medicines, he needs to progress. If I still would be working full-time with my old employer I'm sure some, (and I say that in the looses sense) of his appointments/supplements would have been covered. BUT if I would have stayed working full time, Handsome would NOT have received the care he needed from me. I would still be working late hours, not getting home till his bedtime, and barely surviving mentally running between work and his therapy sessions and constantly worrying about whether or not my job was secure because of my time away for my son.

Quiting my full time job was the best thing I could have done for Handsome I know this for certain... He would NOT be where he is today if I would have stayed in my full time position. He would not be talking today, singing today, laughing today, eating other foods today, running today, interacting with us today, if I would have stayed there.

Yet, its a double edged sword....especially for single parents like me. If you quit your full time job, you then have to rely on a very small income and you do not have the funds you need to take your child to a DAN doctor and buy supplements or take them to ABA therapy.

Its for this reason that I am so happy I found Lend4health and decided to reach out to Tori at Lend4Health and request to get a loan for Handsome. We are still trucking along on the Lend4Health site. Its going really great! We're not there yet :) almost! Just a little more to go and Handsome will be fully funded and able to continue this journey :).

    Much Love,
